The navigation of your Website – i.e. the paths you give your visitors to browse the various pages of your Site is also of great Website design importance. We like to refer to navigation in terms of how intuitive it is. Try to put yourselves in the visitor’s shoes and ask yourselves what will they be looking for first, what’s the easiest way to get them there, and where would we like to direct them once they land on certain pages. The navigation of your Site can make a huge difference when it comes to things like the duration of time someone will stay on your Site, what information they will find, how valuable their time on the Site will be, and, ultimately, how effectively you’ll be able to convert a visitor into a lead and a lead into a customer.
